InCorp Services registered agent review (2026)
Facts checked October 13 to 15, 2026.
InCorp Services lists its registered agent service at $129/year and calls it "a flat $129 per year that has increased exactly once since 1998." Its terms of service are less fixed: they let InCorp bill each renewal at the "then current" fee. The service includes same-day scans of legal papers, email reminders for report and franchise tax deadlines, and a free online dashboard, in what InCorp lists as All 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Its published terms suit owners who already have a company and want an agent with a long published price history. Owners forming a first LLC should note that annual report filing is not part of InCorp's formation service, and the only published statement on whether the agent comes with formation is on InCorp's Utah page.1, 2

How much does InCorp charge, and does the price change at renewal?
The headline figure is $129/year. InCorp's registered agent page frames it as a rate that has barely moved, and the marketing line is specific: "a flat $129 per year that has increased exactly once since 1998."2
The contract is the document that bills you, and it promises less. InCorp's terms of service let it charge the "then current" registered agent fee each year. So the long price history is a published track record, while the terms leave room for a different figure in a future year.2
Prepaid terms of more than a year
InCorp's price list shows lower yearly rates for longer prepaid terms. The shortest multi-year option is listed as "2 yrs $117" and the longest as "5 yrs $87", with a footnote that reads "per year, prepaid term." That looks like a plain saving, and it can be one.1
Before prepaying, read one line in the refund section of the terms: "ALL FEES AND CHARGES WITH REGARD TO DISCOUNTED SERVICES ARE NONREFUNDABLE." A multi-year prepaid rate is a discounted service. If you sell, close or move the company out of state partway through the term, the published terms don't promise any money back for the unused years.3
What else InCorp charges for
These are the other prices InCorp publishes around the agent service.
- Annual report filing, $89 + state fees.4
- An EIN (your federal tax ID), $69.5
- LLC formation, starting at $99 plus state fees.6
- Expedited processing, a $50.00 InCorp expedite fee. InCorp adds that "any state expedite fee is charged in addition."7
A yearly budget for one LLC with InCorp is the agent fee plus whatever the state charges for its yearly report or tax, plus InCorp's $89 if InCorp files that report for you. What each state requires differs; our guide to annual reports explains the state side.
What does InCorp do when legal papers arrive?
InCorp says: "Legal documents scanned and delivered to you the same day they arrive." That is a stated same-day standard, and it covers legal documents rather than all mail sent to the agent address.2
A registered agent accepts lawsuits and official state notices for your company and passes them on. Our explainer on what a registered agent does covers the role itself.
| Mail scanning | Legal documents scanned and delivered same day |
|---|---|
| Mail forwarding | Not published |
| Compliance alerts | Email reminders before deadlines (annual reports, franchise tax) |
| Online dashboard | Entity Management System (EMS), included free |
The scan promise covers legal documents. InCorp's pages don't publish what happens to ordinary business mail, such as bank letters or invoices, sent to the agent address, and they don't publish a mail-forwarding service or a separate business address product. If you plan to receive regular mail there, ask InCorp first.
InCorp's online dashboard
InCorp's dashboard, which it calls EMS, "holds your documents, filings, compliance calendar, and invoices" and is "included free" with the service. The same agent page describes the reminders: "Annual report and franchise tax deadlines tracked per entity, with email reminders before anything comes due." The franchise tax half applies only where a state charges one; each state's compliance page, such as staying compliant in Delaware, sets out what falls due there.2
What the agent address keeps off the record
InCorp's agent page says its address goes "on the public record so yours does not have to be." That is true of the agent field and of every provider, because each registered agent lists its own address there. It isn't a feature one agent has and another lacks.2
The other names and addresses on a state formation filing are set by that state's law. Depending on the state, the record can show a principal office, a mailing address, or the organizer and members. Naming InCorp as agent leaves those fields as they are, and InCorp doesn't publish an address product that could fill them. Our page on registered agents and privacy lists the providers that publish one.
How do renewal, cancellation and refunds work at InCorp?
InCorp keeps billing yearly until you meet a written cancellation condition. Refund requests have a deadline, and discounted services aren't refundable at all.
| Auto-renewal | Service continues and is billed at then-current fee unless a cancellation condition is met |
|---|---|
| How to cancel | Must satisfy a cancellation condition (dissolve entity, appoint new agent, or resign InCorp with fees) before annual fee is due |
| Refund policy | Refund requests within 60 days of issuance of services; discounted services nonrefundable |
Renewal. InCorp's terms don't use the words "automatic renewal," but they say that InCorp continues to act as agent and "You will continue to incur fees." Each bill is at the then-current fee.3
Cancelling. The terms say "You will satisfy at least one of the following cancellation conditions", and the conditions are, in short, to dissolve entity, appoint new agent, or resign InCorp with fees. One of them has to be in place before the next yearly fee is due. Miss that and the next year is billed. For a company that keeps operating and simply wants a different agent, the steps run in this order.3
- Pick a new agent, or decide to act as your own if your state allows it and you have a street address there.
- File the state's change-of-agent form and wait until the state accepts it. Our guide to changing your registered agent covers the form and the order of steps.
- Confirm with InCorp that it has the change on record, before the next yearly fee falls due.
The third condition, having InCorp resign, comes with fees, and the cancellation wording cited here doesn't give the amount. Changing agents yourself avoids that question. Stopping the service before the state records a new agent can leave the company with no agent on file; our guide to cancelling a registered agent explains why the state filing comes first.
Refunds. InCorp sets a deadline: requests must come "within sixty (60) days of the issuance of services." Discounted services, which include prepaid multi-year rates, are excluded by the capitalised line quoted in the pricing section above. The window is counted from the issuance of services, and the quoted wording doesn't say whether a renewal counts as a new issuance.3
What does InCorp's LLC formation service include?
InCorp sells one LLC formation service, starting at $99 plus state fees, with a footnote that reads "Plus state fees for all 50 States and DC." InCorp doesn't publish Basic, Standard or Premium tiers to choose between.6
In the table below, the price comes from InCorp's general LLC page, but the "Includes" and "Registered agent" entries come from InCorp's Utah LLC page. They describe a Utah order and may not hold in other states.
| Package | Price | Includes | Registered agent |
|---|---|---|---|
| LLC Formation Service | starting at $99 plus state fees | Live chat and phone support included | No - registered agent sold separately at $129 per state per year |
| State fees | Yes |
|---|---|
| Expedited filing | $50.00 InCorp expedite fee (state expedite fee extra) |
| Processing time | Not published |
InCorp doesn't publish an itemised list of what the formation fee covers. Its Utah LLC page carries a general line instead: "Live chat and phone support included with every service." It also doesn't publish a standard processing time. It lists a $50.00 InCorp expedite fee for expedited processing, with any state expedite charge on top.8
On whether the agent comes with formation, the published statement we have is from that Utah page, which says the fee "to serve as your Utah registered agent is only $129 per state per year." That sentence prices the agent separately for a Utah LLC. We don't have the same statement for other states, so check the checkout for yours before assuming either way.8
The rest of the setup is sold as separate services. InCorp lists an EIN service at $69 and explains that "InCorp can either prepare the requisite forms to the IRS - or can actually obtain your number for you." It doesn't publish an operating agreement product. Its pages also say "InCorp is not a CPA firm" and "InCorp is not a law firm and neither InCorp nor its employees provide legal services or legal advice." InCorp points customers with tax questions to a tax professional.5, 9, 10
For state-specific steps after filing, such as Arizona's publication rule, the state pages carry the detail. The Delaware registered agent guide and the other state guides cover what each filing needs.
| Annual report filing service | $89 + state fees |
|---|---|
| Deadline reminders | Email reminders included with registered agent service |
| EIN service | EIN service, $69 (InCorp prepares the IRS forms or obtains the number for you) |

What InCorp doesn't publish
Not found on InCorp Services's own website: free or discounted first year, mail forwarding, processing time, operating agreement, virtual address, ein without an ssn, u.s. bank account help.
The gaps worth raising with InCorp before you order are what happens to ordinary mail at the agent address, whether the agent comes with formation in your state, and what a resignation by InCorp would cost.
Can you use InCorp if you live outside the U.S.?
InCorp's statement here comes from a knowledge-base article, not its service terms. The article, a general piece on LLC benefits, says "formation and compliance services can support international founders establishing a U.S. business presence." It doesn't say outright that InCorp takes orders from founders abroad, or how such an order works.11
InCorp doesn't publish whether its EIN service handles founders without a Social Security number, or whether it helps open a U.S. bank account. Both questions come up early for a non-resident founder. Our list of registered agents compared for non-resident founders includes InCorp, ordered by our score, alongside providers that publish more on these points.

How do you reach InCorp?
InCorp offers phone and live chat on weekdays, on Pacific time, with Spanish spoken, and its contact page lists no support email address.
Its contact page puts it as "Phone and live chat. Se habla español." The phone line is 1.800.246.2677, and hours are Monday - Friday, 6am - 6pm PST. A message form appears on the same page. InCorp gives its founding year as 1998 and its base as Las Vegas, Nevada.12, 13

Who do InCorp's published terms suit?
Each point below rests on a fact InCorp publishes. Our best-for lists use the same facts, and each list states how it is ordered.
These owners are a good match on InCorp's published terms.
- Owners who already have a company and want a stable agent price history. The standalone price is $129/year, and InCorp describes it as a flat $129 per year that has increased exactly once since 1998, though its terms allow billing at the then-current fee. On the registered agent services compared on price page, that sits close to Northwest's $125 per year. Harbor Compliance starts lower at $99 first year (new customers) but renews at $159 annually.2, 14, 15
- Owners who want deadline reminders without buying a bigger plan. The agent page includes email reminders for report and franchise tax dates, and InCorp sells report filing at $89 + state fees: "We track your due dates, prepare the report, and file it with the state." That places it among the providers on our list of agents for compliance, in the group that sells report filing separately rather than including it in a plan.4
- Owners who need legal papers fast. Same-day scanning of legal documents is written down.
These owners should look more closely first.
- First-time founders who want guidance included. InCorp includes none of the three supports we track in a plan. Annual report filing is sold separately at $89 + state fees and isn't part of the formation service, and InCorp doesn't publish business coaching or AI guidance. See registered agents for first-time founders.4
- Owners who want one company for everything. InCorp sells 2 of the 10 business service types we track, and says outright that it is neither a CPA firm nor a law firm. Our all-in-one comparison lists providers that sell more of them.
- Anyone planning to prepay several years, given the no-refund rule on discounted services.
- Anyone who needs a business address or ordinary mail handled, since InCorp doesn't publish either.
- Founders outside the U.S. InCorp is on the non-resident list because of the general knowledge-base line quoted above, which doesn't say outright that it takes orders from abroad.
Which providers make a different trade-off?
Each of these differs from InCorp on a specific published point. Prices are from each provider's own pages.
Northwest Registered Agent: if you want ordinary mail scanned and online cancellation. Northwest lists its agent at $125 per year and says it scans normal business mail, up to 5 docs per year, free, where InCorp publishes scanning for legal papers only. Its terms say "You may terminate or cancel your Service anytime by logging onto your account", with no cancellation fee. Its annual report service is $100 plus state fees, above InCorp's figure. Read the Northwest review.14, 16, 17
Bizee: if you're forming an LLC and want the first agent year bundled. Bizee's LLC page says: "With any of our business formation packages, you get one year of Registered Agent Service for free." After that year it renews at $149/year (ongoing annual fee), which is more than InCorp's yearly rate, and it publishes no price for its own report filing service. See the Bizee review.18, 19
ZenBusiness: if you want the annual report filed as part of a plan. ZenBusiness's Worry-Free Compliance service is included in Pro and Premium, its two higher formation plans, so the report filing comes with the plan rather than as a per-filing add-on. Its agent costs $199/year, more than InCorp's. See the ZenBusiness review.20, 21

InCorp Services registered agent FAQ
Is InCorp's renewal price guaranteed to stay the same?
No. InCorp's agent page describes the fee as a flat $129 per year that has increased exactly once since 1998, but its terms let it bill renewals at the "then current" fee. The track record is published; a fixed future price isn't.2
Does InCorp include a registered agent with LLC formation?
The only published statement we have is on InCorp's Utah LLC page, which prices the agent separately for a Utah LLC, saying its fee "to serve as your Utah registered agent is only $129 per state per year." Check the checkout for your own state before you order.8
How do I cancel InCorp's registered agent service?
The terms say "You will satisfy at least one of the following cancellation conditions" before the yearly fee is due. In short, the company is dissolved, a new agent is appointed with the state, or InCorp resigns, which carries fees. For a company that keeps operating, that usually means filing a change of agent with the state first, then telling InCorp. Our guide to changing your registered agent covers the state filing.3
Can I get a refund from InCorp?
InCorp's terms say refund requests must be made within sixty (60) days of the issuance of services. Discounted services, such as prepaid multi-year terms, are nonrefundable under the same terms. The terms set when a request must be made; the quoted wording doesn't promise that a request will be granted.3
Does InCorp scan all my mail?
InCorp publishes same-day scanning for legal documents: "Legal documents scanned and delivered to you the same day they arrive." It doesn't publish how it handles ordinary business mail at the agent address. Ask InCorp directly if you expect regular mail there.2
