Best registered agent services in Oregon
Facts checked October 13 to 15, 2026.
All 10 services on this page sell registered agent service. LegalZoom and doola don't say on their pages which states they cover; the rest say they cover all of them. Oregon's statute, ORS 63.111, requires the registered office to be a physical street address where process may be personally served on the registered agent, so the service you hire supplies a real Oregon street address where papers can be handed to someone. Every Oregon LLC also renews with the state each year for $100, which gives a provider's report reminders or filing service actual work to do here. Because the state charges $0 to change agents, a provider's renewal price and exit terms decide more of the long-run cost than its first-year offer.1, 2
How is this list ordered, and what did we compare?
Providers are listed by our score, highest first, with ties placed in editorial order, and each was checked against the same set of published facts from its own pages and terms.

"Score" is our editorial score out of 10, built from published facts: half from the Trustpilot rating, the rest from breadth of services, dashboard and mail scanning, and package value and two-year cost (how we score; scores approved 2026-10-14). We don't test services. Trustpilot ratings are third-party, cited to Trustpilot, and not adjusted.
Our score uses three inputs, all cited: the Trustpilot rating, breadth of services and dashboard, and value measured across the first and second year. The weighting and each provider's breakdown are on how we score. The Trustpilot figure in the table comes straight from Trustpilot, and we leave it unadjusted. We don't buy or test any service.
For each provider, we gathered the same items: the first-year agent price, the renewal price, how legal papers are delivered, whether it reminds you about or files the Oregon renewal, how auto-renewal works, the cancellation steps and the refund terms. Where a provider publishes nothing on a point, the paragraph says so. Background on the agent's job is in what a registered agent does; this page is only about hiring a paid one for an Oregon LLC.
Which Oregon rules change how you pick an agent?
Three rules sort the field in Oregon: the office has to be a street address where someone can be served in person, the LLC renews every year on its filing anniversary, and changing agents carries no state fee.
An address where papers can be handed over
Under ORS 63.111, the registered office must be a physical street address where process may be personally served on the registered agent. A national service meets that with its own Oregon location. The same holds for every provider below, so it isn't a privacy perk that belongs to any one of them. Several providers also sell a business address or mail-forwarding product; that is a separate purchase and a separate address from the registered office. Who may serve, and whether an owner can act as agent, are covered in the Oregon registered agent guide.
A yearly renewal on your own date
The renewal falls due on the anniversary date of the original filing and costs $100, and the state's FAQ says notices go out about 45 days before the due date. Lateness is handled differently here, with no late fee listed in the fee schedule; instead, failing to file the annual report when due is grounds for administrative dissolution. So a missed renewal doesn't cost a surcharge; it puts the LLC at risk of being dissolved. That makes an agent's reminders, or a plan that files the renewal for you, more useful in Oregon than in states with no yearly filing. The renewal itself, step by step, is on staying compliant in Oregon.1, 3
A change of agent with no state fee
The Oregon Secretary of State, Corporation Division charges $0 to switch agents on its Information Change form, which can also be done online. With no state fee in the way, the real cost of leaving sits in each provider's own terms: notice periods, refund windows and renewal dates. The order of steps is in how to change a registered agent.2, 4
How do the registered agent services compare for Oregon?
The paragraphs follow the table's order. Each one sticks to what that provider publishes, plus how its terms meet Oregon's renewal and address rules.
Tailor Brands
Tailor Brands' agent costs $199/year, a figure the provider supplied, and renews at $199/year (renews at the same price). It states coverage of all 50 states and describes documents scanned and uploaded to the business dashboard. On the Oregon renewal, its agent page says the agent can file the annual report if instructed, and the Essential formation plan ($199/yr plus state fees) lists annual compliance (report filing and updates). One term limits how you use the agent's location: the agent address cannot be used as the business location in public materials. For a public business address it sells a Virtual Address product, price not published. Its terms describe auto-renewal on by default for subscription services. Fees are non-refundable to the maximum extent permitted by law, with a $29 service fee deducted from any refund issued. The Tailor Brands review has the rest.5, 6, 7, 8, 9
ZenBusiness
ZenBusiness lists the agent at $199/year. It renews at $199/yr, and an LLC formed through ZenBusiness gets 50% off the first year ($99). Papers land in a secure online dashboard with email notifications. Its terms say it sends copies, with originals forwarded only if they can't be copied, which is worth knowing if you want paper originals of anything served on the LLC in Oregon. For the Oregon renewal it sells two things: Annual Report Filing $100 per report, or Worry-Free Compliance $199/year, which is included in Pro and Premium formation plans. The agent service renews automatically. Cancelling is done by contacting customer support by phone, and a refund is available only if the service has not yet been used. Read the ZenBusiness review for the formation side.10, 11, 12, 13
LegalZoom
LegalZoom prices the agent at $249/year (first-time registered agent customers). The agent renews at the purchase rate each year, and its terms add that the renewal rate is subject to change. It lists legal documents scanned and uploaded. The agent service includes email reminders about annual report deadlines, and a one-time annual report filing costs $99 + state filing fees, bills once. The service will renew automatically at the end of the Initial Term. You cancel by phone or online via My Account, and proof of new RA may be required; in Oregon the agent change can also be done online, so the new agent can be on record before you call. LegalZoom's pages that we checked don't state which states it covers. Our LegalZoom review goes further.14, 15, 16
Bizee
Bizee charges $149/year for the agent alone, and calls the renewal $149/year (ongoing annual fee). Formation buyers get a free first year with any Bizee formation package. Coverage is stated as all 50 states. Service of process is mailed via FedEx with tracking, and other documents are uploaded to client portal. It sells annual report filing, with no standalone price stated. Its services may automatically renew. Cancelling means assigning a new registered agent with the state and notifying Bizee of the change, so in Oregon the change goes on file first (the state fee is $0) and Bizee hears about it after. Orders are generally refundable until payment is forwarded to any government entity. The Bizee review covers its packages.17, 18, 19, 20, 21
Swyft Filings
Swyft Filings quotes $149 per quarter ($596/year), the highest yearly figure on this page once the quarters are added up. It covers all 50 states, by its own account, and gives this timing for papers: legal SOP typically within 2-3 hours. Its FAQ also says the service renews annually with reminders before renewal, which doesn't match the quarterly price, and its pages don't settle which schedule applies. For the Oregon renewal, it sells ComplianceGuard $199/year, which begins with a 14-day free trial then auto-charged. A replacement agent must be designated (or business dissolved) before cancellation. Refunds are judged case by case, with no published time window. See the Swyft Filings review.22, 23, 24, 25, 26
doola
doola's agent page shows $297 per year, which equals its Starter formation plan ($297/yr), and the page doesn't make clear whether that buys the agent alone. doola says the agent is free with Formation Service. It offers same-day scans, while physical forwarding is not included in base RA subscription unless stated in plan. It sends annual report notifications, but Starter does not include ongoing compliance filings; filing the Oregon renewal for you sits in the Tax and Compliance plan at $1,999/yr. Its terms say recurring fees auto-renew. The published refund rule speaks only of filings: a refund is possible if application cancelled before it is sent to the state. doola's pages don't say which states it covers. More in the doola review.27, 28, 29, 30
Northwest Registered Agent
Northwest charges $125 per year. A free first year comes with formation, as stated on the corporation page; its LLC page doesn't repeat that. Coverage is all 50 states plus D.C. and Puerto Rico, and its account uploads legal papers, with normal business mail scanned up to 5 docs per year free. One term affects Oregon owners directly: its annual report service costs $100 + state fees, charged at filing, and Northwest's description says registered agent customers are auto-enrolled. The facts we hold don't say how to opt out of that service. It also sells Mail Forwarding $20/month (24 select states); the facts we hold don't show whether Oregon is one of them. You can cancel anytime through the online account; no cancellation fee. Purchases are non-refundable after 90 days. See the Northwest review.31, 32, 33, 34, 35
Rocket Lawyer
Rocket Lawyer's agent is $125 with a Plus or Pro membership, and that membership is billed on its own: Plus at $249/year or Pro at $349/year. Pro also adds annual report filing ($100 with Pro membership), the only way to have Rocket Lawyer file an Oregon renewal. It covers all 50 states, and it says it will forward all state legal documents directly to you. The agent renews for successive 1-year terms. You can cancel any time by phone, before renewal date. Refund requests must come within 30 days of purchase. See the Rocket Lawyer review.36, 37, 38, 39
InCorp Services
InCorp charges $129/year and calls it a $129 per year flat rate; its terms, though, bill renewals at the then-current fee. Coverage is all 50 states, DC, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands. Legal papers are scanned and delivered same day. Its Entity Management System (EMS), included free, holds a compliance calendar, and InCorp files the Oregon renewal for $89 + state fees. Service continues and is billed at then-current fee unless a cancellation condition is met. The conditions are to dissolve entity, appoint new agent, or resign InCorp with fees, met before the yearly fee falls due. Refund requests must be made within 60 days of issuance of services, and its terms add: discounted services nonrefundable. The InCorp review has more.40, 41, 42, 43
Harbor Compliance
Harbor Compliance charges $99 first year (new customers), then $159 annually. It lists same-day document scanning. The agent service includes annual report filing reminders, and its managed annual report service runs $199 per state per year plus filing fees. Its terms renew the agent unless you give notice at least 90 days before the end of the current term, so a decision to leave has to be made well before the term ends, even though Oregon's change fee is $0. Its terms say all Fees paid for the Services are non-refundable. See the Harbor Compliance review.44, 45, 46
Which providers suit particular needs in Oregon?
The facts below decide where providers land on our Best-for lists. Each line names the fact; the lists themselves explain the full ordering rule.
- An Oregon renewal filed for you inside a plan you already pay for: Tailor Brands' Essential plan lists annual compliance (report filing and updates), ZenBusiness says Worry-Free Compliance is included in Pro and Premium, and doola lists Annual State Report Filing included in the Tax and Compliance and Business-in-a-Box™ plans. Providers that sell filing separately or send reminders only follow on agents with compliance tools.7, 13, 29
- The lowest standalone first-year agent price here is Harbor Compliance's $99 first year (new customers), which renews at $159 annually. Prices across every provider are on cheapest registered agent services.44
- Founders outside the U.S. LegalZoom says it can form an LLC with no Social Security number, residency, or travel required, and Tailor Brands links a separate sign-up flow for non-US citizens. More on agents for non-resident founders.47, 48
- A separate business address. Bizee sells one at $29/month and Swyft Filings at $29/mo, while Harbor Compliance lists $350/year per company, per location. Remember the registered office is a different address under Oregon's rule. See what an agent can keep off the record.49, 50, 51
What does a registered agent cost an Oregon LLC in year one and after?
Year one is the $100 Articles fee plus the agent's first-year price. From year two, each anniversary brings the $100 renewal plus the agent's renewal, and any report-filing fee if you pay a provider to file.2

The gap between first-year and later prices shows up differently from one provider to the next, and in Oregon the second year always carries the state's renewal on top.
- ZenBusiness gives 50% off the first year ($99), then charges $199/yr.11
- Bizee's agent is free for the first year with any Bizee formation package and costs $149/year (ongoing annual fee) after.18, 19
- Harbor Compliance moves from $99 first year (new customers) to $159 annually.44
- Rocket Lawyer's agent price sits on top of a yearly membership, such as Plus at $249/year.37
- Swyft Filings bills the agent by the quarter: $149 per quarter, auto-renews until cancelled.22
A provider's filing service adds its own charge to the state's $100; LegalZoom's single filing, for example, is $99 + state filing fees, bills once. If you'll keep the LLC for years, the renewal column outweighs the opening price. The full formation arithmetic is on the cheapest ways to form an Oregon LLC, packages are compared on Oregon LLC formation services, and our comparison page puts any two providers side by side.15
Oregon registered agent services: common questions
Can a virtual office be my LLC's registered office in Oregon?
The facts on this page don't include an Oregon ruling on virtual offices, so the statute's wording is the test: the office must be a physical street address where process may be personally served on the registered agent (ORS 63.111). A commercial agent's own Oregon location meets it, and the Oregon registered agent guide explains what the state accepts.1
Will my registered agent file the Oregon annual renewal for me?
Only if your plan includes filing or you buy it. Tailor Brands' agent page says the agent can file the annual report if instructed, Northwest enrolls agent customers in a service charged at each filing, and others sell filing separately, such as InCorp at $89 + state fees. The state fee of $100 applies either way.2, 6, 33, 42
How much does it cost to switch registered agents in Oregon?
The state charges $0, and the Information Change form can also be done online. The real cost is in the old provider's terms. Harbor Compliance wants notice at least 90 days before the end of the current term, and Swyft Filings says a replacement agent must be designated (or business dissolved) before cancellation, so the new agent goes on record first.2, 4, 25, 46
What happens if my Oregon registered agent resigns?
The agent files a resignation, and its appointment ends on the 31st day after the Secretary of State files it, unless a successor is appointed sooner. Having no agent is grounds for administrative dissolution (ORS 63.647), and the statute allows reinstatement within five years of dissolution. The guide covers the steps for replacing an agent, and how to cancel a registered agent explains leaving on your own terms.1
Does Oregon remind me before the renewal is due?
Yes, the state's FAQ says notices go out about 45 days before the anniversary date. Many agent services send their own reminders too: LegalZoom's agent service includes email reminders about annual report deadlines, and Harbor Compliance's includes annual report filing reminders. Reminders don't file the renewal; someone still has to submit it and pay $100.3
How is the list on this page ordered?
By our score, highest first, with ties in editorial order. The score is built only from published, cited facts, and the largest share comes from Trustpilot ratings, which describe each company overall rather than its Oregon service. The method is on how we score; the prices and terms above are what to compare for your own LLC.
